Meet the Executive Director,
Mark Shaffer

Mark Shaffer, Executive Director, grew up in Buffalo, NY. Sick of the cold weather, Mark headed west to UNLV, obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration, followed by a 20-year career in hospitality at the Hyatt Hotel Corporation. Personal life experiences drew Mark into health care, where he managed multiple assisted living and memory care communities. Mark is excited to join the team at Discovery Village  Dominion, where he will help to grow and evolve our community!
